Update...what we've been up to!

A lot has happened since the last time I posted. On April 11, we had the privilege of watching Trey and Kiley get baptized. They have been saved for some time now, but they had never taken the next step. It was very a very rewarding moment as a mother to witness. My mother was also able to be a part of this special event.

Another event that took place on this same day was that an announcement was made at church, introducing Aaron as the new Middle School Pastor. His position begins June 1st, but we have been privileged to work with the middle school students as counselors for a few months. We are honored that God has called us to do this task. Our prayer is that He will use us in a mighty way, and that souls will be saved and lives changed as a result of our ministry. We see God's hand working every time we are with the students, and it is very exciting to be a part of. Please continue to pray that God will strengthen us for the task, and that HE will be glorified and honored.

Aaron has completed his first class at BBC. He did it!! No, actually, God did it!! He will be registering for his fall classes in the near future. He will be majoring in Intercultural Studies, with a minor in Biblical Counseling. I will also have to take some classes, but we are not sure what they will be or when that will begin. I have already taken two years of classes at BBC, so I shouldn't have much more to take.

Friday is our last day of school! We made it through the first year of homeschooling. Praise the Lord! I am most confident that God did it, because there were many days that I was questioning my ability and my sanity. We are all very ready for a few months off, and then we will begin again in August.
